Checking with cars.com, it’s not out of line.

They were $130K+ new. A lot of them are listed for over $225K now, Alpinas can hit $360K or so. Not that they actually sell for that.

I don’t think they were that much new (Wikipedia says $128k, damn) but something tells me this isn’t insane for a Z8 nowadays.

A Z8 wouldn't even be on my planet if I was in the market for that much.

I was thinking the same thing. I wouldn't pay over 50 for one though.

That’s actually a reasonable price. I’ve seen plenty listed go for upper $2xx,xxx and even into the lower $3xx,xxx.
They have done what’s known as “appreciated”.

Yeah, I don’t get it either. So many better choices for that much.

Well, then you’ll never have to worry about buying one.

128K in 2002 dollars is a little over 171K in 2016 dollars. Even accounting for inflation, this car has appreciated (assuming it sells for the ask)

This one cost $330k. But it also has 500 miles on it.

That's crazy. I wouldn't pay over 100 for it.

If I was a millionaire, I’d pay $250k at the very max, but even then I’d have lots of other cars I’d rather have.
Edit: I looked up an inflation calculator and they’d be $176,000 in today’s money.
